A further feature, the bizhub OpenAPI, allows control of print and scan functions from external and third-party software applications. It gives customers an easy possibility to integrate their existing software into the bizhub C452. OpenAPI also takes care of individually customised workflow management. For handouts and charts, the z-fold unit automatically folds A3 media to A4 size, while an additional post inserter makes the handling of special or non-printable media for covers straightforward. Allowing for faster access to different job outputs such as copies and faxes, the job separator increases the MFPs’ ease of use.

Integrated in all bizhubs C452, C552 and C652, Konica Minolta also introduces the latest i-Option edition. Besides economising the devices’ user operation, the smart software solution provides enhanced MFP capabilities. In combination with an embedded ORC engine it allows operators to create searchable and compact PDF files on the fly.
