Ricoh and Duplo Digital Duplicators

The digital duplicator is a printing system that uses ink instead of a toner. It combines the speed and durability of an offset press with the ease of use of a copier and the networking capabilities of a laser printer. The Printer-Duplicator begins by digitally scanning the original and then transferring it to a master template though a thermal imaging process. Then the master is automatically wrapped around a print cylinder, where the ink is drawn through the perforations in the master creating the print. The machine can then run off the prints at very high speeds in the region of 120-130 prints per minute. A very cost effective way of printing.
